SembCorp Biofuel New Build

Background

Following a full competitive tender process, Midas was awarded the contract to install a new single skin exterior envelope to SembCorp's new biofuel facility at Wilton on Teesside.

The Solution

As Sembcorp is based on the largest chemical complex in Europe, all activities are naturally conducted under the highest levels of health and safety scrutiny.

Midas installed a complete external envelope, inclusive of a Plastisol-coated 0.7mm single skin sidewall, and roof featuring 20% rooflights.

We provided all necessary fall arrest safety netting, scaffold edge protection, tower access and walk-safe access to the roof area. Providing all required welfare facilities, we were self-contained throughout the project.

Due to the high levels of safety and efficiency achieved throughout the project, Midas was awarded Sembcorp's Contractor Gold Award for outstanding performance.
